Video: Joni Ernst Grabs the Snippers!

Written by Gary North on November 4, 2014

I am not sure whether this ad is an example of an ad that offers a unique selling proposition or is an example of “lead with the proof; follow with the benefit.”

I understand the bumper sticker: “Make ’em squeal!”

  1. Let's hope she get's the chance to make them squeal.

  2. Denver Kitty says:

Joni, after you WIN, come on over to Colorado to visit with us in celebrating Gardner's & Beauprez's VICTORIES!

  3. All that it demonstrates is that Joni Ernst is as insensitive as any Muslim to animal cruelty, that she is a person who thinks that frightened pigs squealing in intense pain is humorous. She is already being labeled by the uncomplimentary title of "the pig castrator."

Besides an overweening insensitivity undesirable in any national policy maker, what does her obvious enjoyment of castrating males portend for the male population of America? Has she unwittingly revealed a Freudian desire? And how will that play out in the furtherance or limiting of feminist policies?

LOL, you really need a "no pigs were harmed in the making of this commercial" statement Rosie?

"Besides an overweening insensitivity undesirable in any national policy maker,"

An assertion Rosie has zero evidence for.

"what does her obvious enjoyment of castrating males portend for the male population of America?"

Didn't see any enjoyment of castrating males in the ad Rosie. You must be projecting your own personal feelings onto Joni.

"Has she unwittingly revealed a Freudian desire?"

    No, but Rosie has.

"And how will that play out in the furtherance or limiting of feminist policies?"

    No one here cares.

  5. Castrating male farm animals is a dirty and totally necessary job.
Someone has to do it and it's not usually feasible to call the expensive vet because of costs.
It could be called a right of passage for most farm boys, and certainly not inappropriate for girls.

Showing disdain for such a necessary job by city slickers, just shows how far they are removed from reality.

  6. Phillip the Bruce says:

If she is talking about the "pigs" that feed at the federal tax trough, then make'em squeal indeed. Use any means necessary.
