Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) made a bold prediction about the remaining presidential elections in his lifetime during an interview with Glenn Beck that aired Thursday.
“I think Republicans will not win again in my lifetime … unless they become a new GOP, a new Republican Party,” Paul said evenly. “And it has to be a transformation. Not a little tweaking at the edges.”
Paul remained noncommittal about his own speculated presidential ambitions, but said he believes people “from both parties” would rally to a candidate that said “we just need to turn over on all this” and advocated issues like term limits, reading the bills, and single-purpose bills.
The senator expressed little interest in the formation of a third party.
“I think that … you can transform a party,” he maintained. “…I’ve worked for a third party candidate, a guy that was my dad. It’s very difficult. The laws are set against you.”
The two also discussed the Republican Party’s reported issues with conveying its message to voters.
“You have to take your message to people in a way they can understand it,” Paul asserted.
The senator said, for example, that if he is speaking with 1,000 young people, he doesn’t focus on taxes and regulation, but about the government looking at your cellphone.
He added that Republicans have failed to speak with African American and Hispanic communities about how the war on drugs and our legal system has disproportionately affected them.
The primary goal, Paul said, is to present the “ideas of liberty” to everyone.
“There are many people who are open among all these disaffected groups, who really aren’t steadfast supporters of Obama or an ideology,” Paul asserted. “I think they’re open to listening, but we have to have a better message and a better presentation of it.”

The GOP with it's outdated politicians and their mindset is doomed. Young voters run from the GOP. Today, a vote for a Republican is a vote wasted. The Party doesn't stand for anything except there interest in getting re-elected.

Hubby and I are tea partiers and we believe like most tea partiers, we need conservative candidates. Ronald Reagan won by two landslides, RINOs lose by landslides, look at Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Rand Paul. We are tired of the GOP establishment taking we conservatives for granted and we will not vote for them simply because: "Anybody, but Obama," or "anybody but the Democrats." We'll either write in a candidate's name or stay home, the GOP establishment is the same as the Democrats.

It's time for the GOP to join with the Tea Party. If they don't, it won"t be just the RINO'S going extinct. I think Rand is right.

There will be no change in government as long as there are people sucking up votes that are not eligible to be president. Because the Dems got one elected is no reason for Repubs to do it and there are millions of people in the Republican party that will NEVER vote for an illegal. As soon as people understand this, we have a chance of winning!
The Democrats and so called Republicans (RINOs) will be united against Conservatives whether they are called Republicans or Independents. The republican party is divided between liberals and conservatives and a house divided cannot stand, much less win elections. Ideally the RINOs should just leave the divided republican party and join the democratic part and then the voters would have a choice between liberal and conservative parties. As it stands now the republican party has a death wish.

Rand Paul is the brightest star on the horizen for Presidential nomination. He has a handle on all elements required of the position and offers sensible solutions.

Wrong. We must turn back to The Almighty and His System, not "become a new GOP … " or anything else that puts the false god "We The People" and its constitution that usurps the power of law making from The Almighty.
The corrupt system we now find ourselves living under today was inevitable over time. The door was established and opened by the Founding Fathers, which many claim were “Christian”.
The process was allowed to begin when they decided “We The People” should be god (sovereign) and determine what is to be the law of the land via representational legislation.
The legislative process provided by the various federal and state constitutions was the vehicle used by the enemy to corrupt over time (via gradual increments) and finally take over.
This nation wanted to determine what was “good and evil” instead of enforcing The Perfect Moral Laws of The Great I Am that became flesh and dwelt among us.
Malim in se (evil in and of itself as defined by The Great I Am, the ONLY lawgiver) vs. malim prohibitum (evil because someone determines, or legislates, it to be evil).
We now have evil, rotten, Marxist, Edomite Tares and the "Twice The Sons of Hell" they proselytized (Matt. 23: 15) corrupting the nation.
We also find “The Communist Manifesto” and The Ten Planks contained therein (by the Edomite, son of a Rabbi, Karl Marx) is the system our enemy was allowed to slowly ensnare us with, here in the good ol' U.S.S.A. And now it’s morphed into Corporate Fascism.
The only way to save this nation is to turn back to Him, His Perfect Moral Laws, Statutes and Judgments, i.e., His Kingdom/Will On Earth.

Your first paragraph was spot-on, Ted. Your second, well….you ride that hobbyhorse a bit too far. Establishing a Biblical theocracy is not the answer, nor is God's kingdom of this world (sorry, Gary). Sonny's answer nails it. You want to know the nuts and bolts of how it's going to work, but frankly, that's not the point. The point is our heart attitudes, not our technical or even theological prowess.
Yes, Lorraine, it would be nice if the RINOs would leave the GOP, but that's not usually how it works. Historically, liberals have always co-opted and taken over structures and organizations leaving conservatives with no choice but to depart and form their own new organizations. But take heart–historically, the taken-over organizations are almost NEVER viable and eventually collapse and die of their own irrelevance.
There's a lot in what you say, Chris. One proviso: I don't think the preservation of the United States of America as a political entity is real high on the Almighty's list. He isn't real concerned with "(saving) this nation". It's been a pretty good place for His people for a couple centuries, but all things man-made eventually pass away. We're witnessing the passing of a great nation into history, but His Kingdom will be forever.
So, Dave, correct if I'm wrong: It would seem your suggesting that as long as we (or the framers) have our heart attitudes correct, it doesn't matter if we (or the framers) ignore Yahweh's immutable moral law and set up our own laws for ourselves (or in the case of the framers, for the nation).

Thanks for your reply. You are correct about His not preserving "the United States of " as a political entity and that's not what I'm promoting.
I am promoting, however, "America", i.e., His "Church" (His Civil Body Politic). America means "Heavenly Kingdom" in the Gothic language.
That's why the Caucasian Americans need to repent their way out of this and promote His Kingdom/Will on earth; instead of thinking they'll "vote" their way out of this with some "new and improved" GOP, 3rd. Party, etc., come the next (pre-s)election; and when "successful", flip the bird to the Almighty and return to its idol "We The People" and its constitution. Upon repentance and returning to His Way, then He "will here from heaven and heal their land".
The Constitution (and its Amendments) is the genesis of our problems and continue contributing to the nation's on going detriment and demise.
Consider the possibility that if we turn back to The Almighty in repentance for breaking His Laws, Statutes and Judgments and usurping the power of law making (via the legislatures in all constitutions), which is exclusive to Him, that He just might look down from His Mighty Throne and say: “Looks like the kids could use a miracle or two”, then strengthen and lead us (in person ?) to victory and defeat of our real enemies and give us back the whole thing ?
I know it’s a wild and bizarre idea, but it just might work. It’s not like it never happened before.

His people (as a whole) are in rebellion to Him and He will not be mocked. We can not keep breaking His Laws under some man created party, states, etc. It will inevitably wind up with the same resulting evils we’re currently ensnared with.

There is nothing in the Bible indicating there’s now a “Spiritual Israel” (as in other than the physical descendants of Israel) of any and all that embrace “Christianity” .
Israel means: He (Ish = male) Rules or will rule (Ra) With God (El). And those physical descendants of Israel that repent, confess Him and are baptized (full immersion) for the remission of sins (law breaking) in His Name (Acts 2: 38) become part of His Body (i.e., Civil Body Politic) and will rule with Him.
