Bill O’Reilly aired the remainder of his exclusive interview with President Barack Obama on Monday, revealing a few more tense exchanges. The original interview aired prior to the Super Bowl on Sunday.
O’Reilly pressed Obama on his administration’s record on assisting the black community, reminding him that “72 percent of babies in the African-American community are born out of wedlock.” The host then asked the president why there isn’t a “campaign” featuring him and the first lady to combat the harmful trend.
“Actually, Bill, we address it explicitly all the time,” Obama shot back, adding that he has giving several speeches on the subject. “So, whether it’s getting publicity or not is a whole different question.”
The two also clashed over Fox News coverage after O’Reilly asked Obama if he felt he was “unfair” in his coverage of him and his administration.
