How to “Burn Your ObamaCare Card”

Written by Gary North on July 11, 2013

I read an article recently. It recommended massive resistance to ObamaCare. It outlined how to do it. You can read it here.

You can beat the system, it says, if you can prove that you have adequate coverage.

My wife has adequate coverage. She pays $85 a month. She is not under ObamaCare.

To find out how she does it, click the link.

  1. I will NEVER COMPLY with unlawful mandates!

  2. Good for you. Be a hero like Wesley Snipes.

  3. Jesse Tomblin says:

Tell me where I can get insurance for two people with pre-existing conditions that cheap and I will be more that elated to pay that and a little more for insurance. As it is now Obammycare will cost me and my wife everything I make and more a month to get. I cannot afford the rate all other places charge for us if they will even give us a policy. Most won't even with Obammycare in effect. So tell me where to get cheap insurance and I am there.

IIRC, there's no real enforcement mechanism – all the IRS can do is take any penalty out of your refund check (no power to garnish wages or assets).

Unfortunately, affordable catastrophic (e.g. $5,000-$10,000 deductible) coverage will soon be a thing or the past under Obamacare.

So look for millions to go 'naked' starring next year.

  5. since when do we have to "prove" anything? That is illegal….period. There is nowhere in our constitution that states I have to 'prove' I have health insurance or anything else.

  6. If you can get coverage for pre-existing conditions, you are NOT buying insurance. If you can get coverage for KNOWN costs for less than paying out of pocket, you are receiving WELFARE. Insurance means you pay someone else to assume a RISK. A pre-existing condition is NOT a risk, it is a CERTAIN expense.

Actually, the IRS CAN garnish wages under existing, pre-Obamacare law. More specifically, they can ORDER your employer to adjust your withholding if they determine you are not withholding enough to cover your expected taxes. By this mechanism, they can CREATE a 'refund' to take the penalty from.
