A group of pranksters somehow got into the annual meeting of the United Kingdom’s richest banks. The annual meeting hands out awards to the most innovative ways to make money.
Earlier this year, Barclays Bank was fined almost half a billion dollars for having illegally rigged the LIBOR, the world’s most important free market interest rate. Collusion among major banks was has been widespread for years.
Anyone who thinks the Bank of England’s highest officials was unaware of this collusion is himself unaware.
There is a video of the prank.
The members must have thought it was part of the official ceremony. They laughed.
The joke’s on them.
No, wait. The joke’s on us.

I can't believe they got out of there without a police escort…and they kept their video too. Wow. That is not something that is done lightly. I guess those bankers really do believe they can't be touched else they might have had better security at the back door. Bravo!
Intruders were lucky. Bankers will kill (or attempt to kill) anybody who messes with their scam. Just ask Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Louis McFadden and JFK. Oh, wait…
