Steve Martin, in show of good will, has just produced a Steve-Martin skit to promote the Senatorial campaign of Bob Kerrey of Nebraska. They both dated Linda Ronstadt over 30 years ago.
The video is as low budget as you can get. He doesn’t even wear a lapel microphone. It looks like a poor man’s version of a Martha Stewart segment. That’s the point, I think.
Whether it raised any money for Kerrey is a question.

I found it amusing, but am a Steve Martin fan. I appreciate his backdoor humor and this kind of ad would appeal to me whether I voted for the candidate or not.

How many times can I hit the like button? Moonbeam is now billing the entire state of California residents to pay a "fire tax" to go towards covering costs battling brush fires. Nevermind the taxes we already pay for this plus all of us who are unemployed or underemployed due to BO and Moonbeam's policies. Add to that the past couple of days the gasoline spike to almost $5 a gallon!!
What does the fact that they both date Linda Rondstadt have to do with anything with Kerrey running for office or this skit?
Steve Martin is always hilarious. Even his lamest routines are funny.
