Paradise Nation: Zero Government Debt, Low Taxes, Lots of Guns

Written by Gary North on August 24, 2012

Let me describe it. See if you can identify it.

No government debt . . . ever.

Budget surpluses

Great weather

Clean environment

Tax haven

Non-interventionist foreign policy

No gun controls

Low crime

Low regulation

No inflation

This is the Keynesian’s nightmare: a free, rich nation in which they have no influence.

  1. For more regarding the means for accomplishing the things listed above, read Gary North's "Tools of Dominion: The Case Laws of Exodus" <a href="http://(http://www.amazon.com/Tools-Dominion-Case-Laws-Exodus/dp/0930464109)” target=”_blank”>(http://www.amazon.com/Tools-Dominion-Case-Laws-Exodus/dp/0930464109). This ranks as one of the best commentaries on the God of the Bible's perfect law and altogether righteous judgments (Psalm 19:7-11).

Sadly, this will not happen in our time. :(

    • Probably not. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing everything we can to make it happen in a future generation of our posterity's time. And there's only one way by which it will ever occur — by doing everything can to point our people back to their God and King and His perfect law and altogether righteous judgments (Psalm 19:7-11).

    • Incredulous says:

You obviously did not read the story. The place is a small sovereign country in Europe and they don't suffer fools lightly.

    • Not unless Christians think on Christendom… Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

How would politicians make a living?
How would all the lawyers survive.
