In 1949, I was put on a dietary regimen by my physician, Francis Pottenger. He was a nutritional specialist. As part of this diet, I drank certified raw milk. I therefore have great sympathy for the seller of raw milk who was arrested, imprisoned, and allegedly harassed by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. That was where I grew up.
The “criminal” is named James Stewart. Remember that name!
He survived a “week of torturous Hell” at the hands of LA County jail keepers who subjected him to starvation, sleep deprivation, hypothermia, loss of blood circulation to extremities, verbal intimidation, involuntary medical testing and even subjected him to over 30 hours of raw biological sewage filth containing dangerous pathogens.

He was subjected to severe food deprivation.
He was interrogated by deputies and accused of being a “sovereign,” then branded with a red arm band (Nazi-style) to falsely indicate that he was a danger to the general population.
He was shackled in long chains wrapped around his waist multiple times, then had his hands cuffed behind his back which was bound to the heavy waist chain to restrict his movement. His handcuffs were so tight he thought his wrists would break.
He was then handcuffed to a cold bench, restricting his movement to just six inches, then left on the bench for 4-5 hours.
He was then forcibly subjected to various medical tests, including forced chest X-rays even while he was handcuffed.
He was placed in a cold cell wearing only a T-shirt and pants, where he soon began to suffer from hypothermia and found himself violently shivering just to stay alive.
He was made to suffer through total sleep deprivation all night long as other prisoners were screaming and banging on the walls.
His cell was then flooded with raw human sewage, which flowed into his jail cell 2-3 inches deep, covering his shoes and shirt. LA County jail guards then ordered James to clean up all the raw sewage in his cell by handing him a small hand-held squeegee and demanding that he squeegee out all the raw sewage himself (which he reluctantly did).
He was then forced to stay in the putrid raw sewage cell for over 30 hours, fighting off nausea and living in bacteriological filth that threatened his health.
All along, the LA County prison guards gloated over their treatment of prisoners while laughing and joking about their power to subject prisoners to such abuse. This behavior openly mimics that of Gitmo guards who took pictures gloating over their torture and murder of prisoners of war.
During this entire process, he was not allowed a single phone call nor any visit from an attorney. His right to speak to an attorney was repeatedly denied.
At no point was James notified of what he was being charged with. He was never presented with an arrest warrant nor were any charges explained to him.
He was was mysteriously “lost” in the system and LA County officials claimed they did not know where he was. This was apparently a deliberate attempt to subject an individual to drawn-out torture without legal representation and make sure no one could locate them to check on their health or arrest status.
The man is an enemy of the state.
It could happen to you.

The man's story is not believable and any who do believe it are worse than naive.
There are too many true stories of people who have been persecuted for selling raw milk to allow this garbage to stand without questioning the contents.
When in his history of human events stories become so outrageous that we doubt that it could ever happen we turn a blind eye like the good Germans pre WWII because of doubt, or because it was not "me". When they come for you and no one is there to speak up for you it will be too late.

Infowars.com reported that you can now buy "Raw Milk" from a vending machine in France. Mike Adams (Health Ranger) has been following this story for some time know. I believe they put a 1 million bond on him and 2 million on his wife. Murders and Rapist are treated better. The more money our police take from the Federal Government, the more evil they become. A lawyer would point out that the burden of proof is with whoever wrote the story – as in the case of the “Iran has nuclear missiles off Venezuela” story. Still waiting from proof of that one…

The Police now use their newly assumed authority to SUMMARILY EXECUTE any of us for any reason if we don't immediately grovel in the dirt when approached by them. That just happened yesterday morning in my little town here in North Idaho.

My personal interactions with any Police Unit in the past twelve years (I'm a 67 year old single man with no record of any kind who rarely leaves home to venture about in society) have been shocking to say the very least as they have treated me with complete disdain and even threatened me with arrest for reporting criminal events in my neighborhood. One young officer even said, "I don't have time to baby sit you…", after barely hearing my explanation of why he was called upon to respond to my complaint which had been thoroughly explained to the Police Receptionist on a NON-emergency phone line.
I lived almost my entire life in the Los Angeles area before 'escaping' that cesspool in 1998 and spent years watching the LA Police and Sheriffs abuse the public (through TWO RIOTS and innumerable daily abuses) since those departments were established.
I am quite 'world-wise' and have a Masters Degree in Business and Computer System Analysis, so don't think about calling me an old crank.

I would venture to say ANIMALS get better treatment in some cases, except I KNOW that's not true as far too many people are mistreating animals now by abandoning them and/or abusing them for the most ridiculous of reasons showing what subhumans far too many of us have become due to the policies of our governments at all levels of society.
Mistreating animals is one of the 'key' attributes of serial killers.
I wonder what is the key attribute of people who mistreat other people.
Too bad James Stewart isn't a terrorist. He could enjoy meals suited to his lifestyle, an nice exercise area, reading materials, a place to meditate and even play soccer on the new 750,000.00 soccer field.

I think he was referring to the prison in Iraq; Abu… something. I live in KY and I know how some of the police here treat people. The story is not 'far fetched' to me. Some people are naive and cannot believe these things take place, but if they ever happen to be in one of these situations, they may have a rude awakening; depending on where they are.
There was no torture of murder of prisoners at Gitmo….what else in this story is fabricated
This story reminds me of those "satanic ritual child abuse" stories from the 1980s that turned out to be completely bogus. Is it true? The let's see the lawsuits! Right now, there is absolutely no evidence that what this guy is saying is true, all we have is his story. If we don't hear anything more about it, the guy is most like a liar. If we start hearing about lawsuits, then that would mean there's something to this story after all. Wait and see.
Just wondering. Does L.A. County have laws on the books regarding raw milk? And do they have enforcement jurisdiction? Last I checked, it was the USDA that outlawed raw milk.
Hopefully he will press charges against every person involved. Any jury wouldn't hesitate to award him enough punitive damages to provide for himself and his family for the rest of his life.

well, this part is untrue. Nothing of this sort has happened at Gitmo.

I surely would like to be able to get raw milk once again; grew up on it; cows were healthy without some of junk they feed them now.

Years ago I might have called the story a bunch of hooey but now I don't know? Look at history and how many people said that relocating the Jews was just for their protection. Germany had the Jewish Ghettos, the trains and the death camps and we have our FEMA camps which I fear will lead to trains and death camps here.
There was a jailer (county) in Illinois that mistreated the prisoners -not this bad tho- and he was found in the woods with his hands cuffed behind his back hanging from a tree.

If there is any chance that this story is true, we currently have a system in place that allows us to Suit the living crap out of the LA County. That is his option and he has a few years to act on it.
This is both sad and normal. Anyone who has been to jail in recent history knows this is normal treatment. You can't sue, it's a protected activity and as long as they treat everyone terribly there's not really much you can do.
The only answer is to stop allowing the police to be above the law.
